DOTA(PC) If you have always wondered what DOTA stands for, it is actually a short term for "Defense Of The Ancients". A really genius custom map scenario for the real-time strategy game, Warcraft III. The objective of the scenario is for each team to destroy the opponents' Ancients, heavily guarded structures at opposing corners of the map. Players use powerful units known as heroes, and are assisted by allied heroes and AI-controlled fighters called "creeps". As in role-playing-games, players level up their hero and use gold to buy equipment during the mission. Addictive. Been about a year and a half since I started and no, with the new updates and patches coming, and the hopes of more heroes, Im sure its gonna keep alot of people glued on to their seats for some time. The story is good, though a little disappointing at the end, but hey, we could always wait for another sequel to pop out. Overall epic. That however is not the reason why I play this game every night. It is the online play that gets you. How systematically well-balanced the ranking system is, how efficient the "banning system" works, how everyone is using their mics vulgaring each other. Never have I seen a dust on this game.
